Local sales tax rate changes planned for 2018 in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has announced two upcoming local sales and use tax rate changes.

Effective Jan. 1, 2018, Brown County is imposing a 0.5 percent tax, bringing the combined rate to 5.5 percent.

Effective April 1, 2018, Calumet County will do the same: It’s adding a local tax of 0.5 percent, for a combined rate of 5.5 percent.
