Oklahoma sales tax changes, April 2017

 Oklahoma announces local sales tax rate changes for Q2 2017.

Several local sales and use tax rate changes are scheduled to take effect in Oklahoma on April 1, 2017.

New tax

  • Gate is imposing a 2% sales tax

Tax decrease

  • Healdton is decreasing sales and use tax from 4.5% to 4%

Tax increase

  • Porum is increasing the sales and use tax rate from 4% to 5%

The above rates are in addition to the 4.5% state sales and use tax. Additional information, including reporting codes, is available at the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
