Wyoming sales tax rate changes, effective July 1, 2017.

Niobrara County, Wyoming, repealed its 1% special purpose county option sales tax as of July 1, 2017. The new combined state and local rate for Niobrara County is 5%.

This change also reduces the combined lodging and sales and use tax rate in Lusk, which drops from 9% to 8%. Additional information.

Local rate changes complicate sales and use tax compliance, especially for retailers doing business in multiple states or throughout one state. Tax automation software enables businesses to swiftly account for rate changes in all business locations. Learn more.
