South Carolina sales tax rate changes, March 2017

 Local sales tax rates in South Carolina, March 1, 2017.

Local sales and use tax rate changes are scheduled to take effect in South Carolina on March 1, 2017.

Both Darlington County and Kershaw County will impose a new 1% Education Capital Improvement Tax. The new general tax rate in both counties will be 8%; the new accommodations tax rate will be 9%. Additional information is available from the South Carolina Department of Revenue.
