 Minnesota local sales tax rates, January 2017.

A number of local sales and use tax rate changes are set to take effect in Minnesota on January 1, 2017.

The following localities will add a 0.5% local transit sales and use tax:

  • Cook County
  • Mille Lacs County
  • Pine County
  • Winona County

Local sales and use tax in Fergus Falls expires on December 31, 2016.
