Michigan fuel tax rates, October 2016

 Michigan fuel tax rate change.

Prepaid sales tax rates for fuel received or purchased in Michigan are set to change on October 1, 2016. The rate for gasoline will slightly increase, from 11.9 cents per gallon to 12.0 cents per gallon. The rate for diesel fuel will drop from 12.7 cents per gallon to 12.6 cents per gallon.
