New York fuel tax rate changes, September 2016

 New York fuel tax rate change.

Beginning September 1, 2016, sales and use tax in New York’s Metropolitan Commuter Transportation District (MCTD) will increase from 0.7 cent per gallon to 0.75 cent  per gallon. The combined state and local rate in the MCTD will be 8.75 cents. Additional information.
