California Electronic Registration System for New Businesses

California Electronic Registration For New Businesses

The California Board of Equalization offers an electronic registration system called eReg for new businesses who wish to simplify the application process for licenses, permits and accounts.

Businesses can begin the electronic registration process from the eReg Main Menu. A single application will begin the process “. . . for the permit, licenses and accounts [they] need.” When registration is complete, businesses print permits and licenses directly from the website. “Seller’s permits are free but some licenses and accounts require a fee.”
