Independent Systems and Programming Incorporated Independent
Systems is a privately held company incorporated in 1977 to
develop, market, and support tax software. Over the years
we have developed the expertise required to interact with
state, county, and city taxing agencies which is important
to maintaining an accurate tax database.
In addition to applying tax rates as they
are issued by various taxing authorities; we conduct a complete internal audit of each state's
Sales and Use and Payroll tax rates at least twice a year.
We are proud of the fact that the systems
and procedures we have developed over the years provide the
most accurate tax rates available today!
Our headquarters site is located in Batavia,
IL (a suburb of Chicago). We are only minutes away from Chicago
and its ties to major businesses and business centers around
the country and around the world.
Management and staff:
The staff at Independent Systems has over 50 years of combined experience
in Sales and Use and Payroll tax compliance.
We are committed to helping our customers
remain tax compliant.
We provide in-house tax training constantly,
and attend tax seminars and training sessions throughout the
country to keep pace with dynamic tax changes.
All of our staff have computer expertise,
and all have financial and accounting backgrounds.
